Initial public offer of up to (*) equity shares of face value of Rs. 10 each (the "equity shares") of John Energy Limited (the "company" or the "issuer") for cash at a price of Rs. (*) per equity share (including a share premium of Rs. (*) per equity share) (the "offer price") aggregating up to Rs. (*) Crores (the "offer"). The offer comprises of a fresh issue of (*) equity shares aggregating up to Rs. 218 Crores by the company (the "fresh issue") and an offer for sale of up to 1,677,744 equity shares consisting of up to 800,000 equity shares by india rig company and up to 579,830 equity shares by IL&FS Financial Services Limited (the "investor selling shareholders"), and up to 297,914 equity shares by the other selling shareholders (as defined hereinafter) (the investor selling shareholders and other selling shareholders collectively, the "selling shareholders") aggregating up to Rs.
