Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd drops for fifth straight session

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 2149.7, down 0.97% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.68% on the day, quoting at 24940.7. The Sensex is at 81682.12, down 0.7%.Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd has gained around 0.15% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is a constituent, has increased around 1.23% in last one month and is currently quoting at 56828.8, down 1% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 12.76 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 37.59 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark July futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2150.8, down 1.17% on the day. Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd jumped 18.01% in last one year as compared to a 1.67% rally in NIFTY and a 7.64% spurt in the Nifty Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 26.3 based on TTM earnings ending March 25.
