ICICI Bank, UltraTech Cement, Inox India, Mazagon Dock in focus

ICICI Bank: RBI has approved the re-appointment of Sandeep Batra as Executive Director of the Bank with effect from 23 December 2023 to 22 December 2025. This renewed term of two years is within the five years term as previously approved by the shareholders.

UltraTech Cement: The company has entered into Share Subscription and Shareholders Agreement to acquire 26% equity shares of Clean Max Terra Private Limited, a company engaged in generation and transmission of renewable energy. The acquisition is for the purposes of meeting the company?s green energy needs, optimising energy cost and comply with regulatory requirements for captive power consumption under electricity laws.

Inox India: Shares of the company will debut on the bourses today, 21 December 2023. The issue price is Rs. 660 per share.

Mazagon Dock: The state-owned shipbuilding company announced that it has inked a contract with the Ministry of Defence for the construction and delivery of six vessels for about Rs 1,600 crore.

AstraZeneca Pharma India: The company will launch Enhertu in January 2024 in India. Trastuzumab deruxtecan (Enhertu) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer who have received a prior anti-HER2- based regimen.

Cochin Shipyard: The company signed contract with MoD for a value of Rs. 488.25 crore. The work package includes repair and maintenance of the equipments and systems onboard the naval vessel.
